Countdown continues

Well, only 4 more days until I leave from Klamath Falls to Portland, then on to Tokyo and finally arrive in Shanghai. I leave on Feb. 29th at 7:15 am and arrive at my destination at 8:35 pm on March 1st. Flight time is 15.5 hours.

I will be teaching two classes. The first is what they call Interchangeability & Measurement Technology. We callit here (I hope it is the same class) Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing. At least those are the notes that I am borrowing from a fellow colleague. The other class is Materials Engineering. I hope to show some videos to the Chinese students. One is from a "Made in America" set. An example can be seen at:

John Ratzenberger from Cheers is the narrator. I wonder if the students will see the humor in this!

Countdown to China

Well, it is eight days to my flight to Shanghai. I'm trying to focus these days and prepare my syllabus and notes for the two classes I will be teaching over there.
